Create your products and services catalogue

Add a product

1. Click Products on the left hand menu
2. Click Add Product on the product page
3. Enter the name of your product or service in the Product Name field within the Add a product popup
4. Click Create

Add product details

Add general product details

1. Click Products on the left hand menu
2. Click on the product that you would like add details to
3. Click the General tab within the edit product menu
4. Select a Product Display Category for your product
5. Add a Short Product Summary
6. Add the Image Source for a the product icon/ preview. (see File Manager to upload images to MyCars file store)
7. Enter how long the job is expected to take in the Work Time Required field
8. Add a full description for your product in the Description field
9. Click Update Product or continue to Add pricing details below

Add pricing details

1. Click the Pricing tab within the edit product menu
2. Select if your product is price on application (POA) e.g. a manufacturer service where the price may vary from car to car. You will be able to confirm the price for this when a customer makes a booking.
   If the price of the product or service does not change e.g. a MOT then leave this toggle off.
3. Enter the full retail price of the product in the Price box.
4. Toggle if you would like to show a Discounted price for the product. If not leave this toggle off.
5. If the product is discounted enter the reduced price in the Discounted Price field.
6. Add a short Discount Description for your discounted product.
7. Click Update Product or continue to Configure product options below

Configure product options

1. Click the Options tab within the edit product menu
2. Toggle the Active toggle to make your product visible to customers.
3. Toggle Is MOT if the product is a MOT
4. Toggle Default MOT Option if this is the MOT product that customers will book when they click on a book MOT reminder. You can only have one default MOT product.
5. Toggle Is Service if this a service product e.g. Full Service. This will update the customers service reminders when the booking is complete.
6. Toggle Default Service Option if this is the service product that customers will book when they click on a book service reminder.
7. Click Update Product or continue to Preview product below

Your product wont be visible to customers until you click Active within the options tab.

Preview product

1. Click the Preview tab within the edit product menu
2. If you are happy with your product listing click Update Product. If not go back through the previous steps and make you changes and then click Update Product.
